Arrpwere TRAINING

Where Training Fits

Arrpwere Training complements our consulting and delivery services.

Defence and government programs often require delivery teams to interpret security frameworks, prepare assurance evidence and make engineering decisions within complex governance environments.

Training helps organisations strengthen internal capability so these requirements can be applied consistently during system delivery

Programs may combine:

• practitioner-led training
• consulting support
• workforce capability uplift

This allows organisations to improve delivery confidence while building internal capability.

Practical engineering, cyber and assurance training for defence and government agencies

Arrpwere Training delivers practitioner-led cyber security, engineering and assurance training designed for teams operating in Defence, government and regulated environments.

Our programs focus on helping delivery teams interpret security requirements, apply assurance expectations during delivery and prepare evidence required for review and accreditation.

Training is delivered in partnership with the Australian School of Cyber Security Engineering (ASCSE), combining operational experience with structured learning and facilitated capability development.

The Arrpwere–ASCSE Partnership

Training is delivered through a partnership between Arrpwere and the Australian School of Cyber Security Engineering (ASCSE).

Arrpwere works within Defence and government programs providing assurance, accreditation and secure system advisory services. This provides direct insight into the delivery challenges teams face when applying security requirements during system development and accreditation activities.

ASCSE is a specialist cyber security engineering training organisation that designs learning pathways and facilitates structured education programs across Defence, government and critical infrastructure sectors.

Arrpwere–ASCSE programs combine operational delivery insight with structured learning.

Operational experience from Defence programs informs course design, while ASCSE’s instructional model translates those requirements into practical, role-aligned training.

The result is training that focuses on how security requirements are applied during delivery, not simply how they are described in policy.

ASCSE Web Platform

The ASCSE web app is a purpose-built cyber security learning and engagement platform that supports professionals before, during, and after training. It delivers continuous capability development through micro-learning, real-time expert support, industry updates, and direct access to cyber security job opportunities, all within a single integrated environment designed for Defence and critical infrastructure needs.

Continuous learning and support with micro-content, expert access, and live industry updates, not just one-off training

Direct pathway to employment through an integrated cyber jobs marketplace and recruitment partner network

Built for Defence-grade environments with access to critical frameworks, analytics, and enterprise integration capabilities.

Training Delivery

We design and deliver Defence and government-aligned cyber security, engineering and assurance training for regulated and security-sensitive environments. Our programs combine structured education with practitioner experience and applied learning.

Delivery is conducted in person and may be provided within Defence or government facilities, through national training partners, or alongside delivery teams as required. Sessions are interactive and scenario-based, allowing participants to work through security decisions, assurance activities and delivery situations relevant to their own systems.

Training is delivered through facilitated workshops and guided exercises led by practitioners and specialist instructors, with participants working through realistic delivery and assurance activities relevant to their roles.

Training Structure

Arrpwere Training programs typically focus on three capability areas

Engineering and Cyber Capability

Training for engineers and delivery teams in secure-by-design practices, cyberworthiness, cyber engineering and assurance.
Participants learn how to interpret requirements, make defensible security decisions and prepare evidence for assurance review and accreditation.

Workforce Capability Development

Role-aligned learning pathways designed for technical staff, delivery teams, managers and governance roles.
Programs may begin with targeted pilot sessions and scale across multiple teams and cohorts.

Executive and Program Leadership

Targeted sessions for senior leaders, program managers and architects focused on cyber risk, governance and accountability during system delivery and accreditation activities.

Training Outcomes and Capability Development

Arrpwere-ASCSE training is designed around the outcomes participants are expected to achieve in Defence and government environments.

Programs focus on developing the ability to interpret requirements, make security decisions and produce artefacts that support assurance and accreditation activities.

Learning is aligned to specific roles including engineers, delivery teams, GRC practitioners and program leadership, with clear expectations of what participants can apply following training.

Participants work through realistic scenarios, case studies and exercises that reflect delivery and assurance challenges. Assessment focuses on demonstrating capability in practice, not simply understanding concepts.

Training is supported by a structured learning environment that provides visibility of participation, progress and capability development. This enables organisations to monitor workforce uplift and support governance, reporting and accreditation requirements.

Capability development continues beyond the classroom through ongoing engagement, targeted learning updates and access to specialist support.

Ongoing Training Capability

Arrpwere-ASCSE training is supported by a purpose-built learning and engagement environment designed for Defence and regulated settings.

This enables capability development to continue beyond initial training through targeted learning updates, access to specialist experts and applied reinforcement aligned to real delivery and assurance activities.

Organisations gain visibility of workforce participation, progress and capability development, supporting governance, reporting and accreditation requirements without increasing administrative overhead.

Our training combines instruction, applied exercises and assessment so personnel learn how to apply security requirements in practice, not just understand them conceptually.
