ADRIAN STANDISH

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Adrian is the Chief Executive Officer at Arrpwere Group and an ICT professional with more than 25 years’ experience in the industry. He has a strong background in voice / unified communications and network integration, and has spent the last 10 years focussed on technical governance and assurance within the Australian Defence Force. Prior to establishing Arrpwere, Adrian worked with the Australian Public Service Commission as an Indigenous Career Ambassador and performed roles such as Technical Lead for the JP2047 Project (replacement of the Department of Defence WAN and LAN environments), Director of IT Governance in the Defence Material Organisation and National Support Manager for Defence Voice Services.

CHRIS MORRIS-BARROW

GENERAL MANAGER GROUP OPERATIONS

Chris is Ex-Defence and after completing his MBA, started a business in the UK retailing Outdoor Clothing and Climbing Equipment. He worked for Wesfarmers providing oversight and support for NSW and ACT operations. He then started a business management consultancy in Canberra and has worked with a number of Private, Indigenous, and Public organisations from developing strategic planning and compliance to the development of business management systems and PMIS’s. Chris has been collaborating with Arrpwere in a consultancy capacity for over a year, initially engaged to develop policies procedure and a management structure to support the group in becoming ISO 9001:2015 certified.

SYED SHAHZAD

GENERAL MANAGER ARRPWERE CYBER

Syed is a highly experienced tech entrepreneur and ICT security expert who has had a successful career in enterprise ICT security, helping businesses design and implement challenging target operating models to establish security and efficiency. He has dedicated the past 15 years to creating and successfully selling several security-related ventures and has been an advisor and consultant to various government agencies in Australia and the UK. As the General Manager for Arrpwere Cyber, Syed leads the cybersecurity domain, including governance, architecture, product assessment and development. His passion for ICT security extends beyond typical work hours, when he is developing a mobile application to help security practitioners access relevant content and security guidelines.

IAN STANLY

LEAD ARCHITECT

Recognised throughout his career for his contribution to innovation and design and for his performance and professionalism, Ian boasts an impressive career spanning over four decades of dedication to the ICT space, across the private and public sectors. As the Lead Architect for Arrpwere, Ian has a proven track record and demonstrable capability of leading strategic network, IT/OSS, mobility and security architecture development for multi-billion-dollar telecommunications network transformation projects involving complex network environments. While there is no question as to his experience and knowledge in his technical capability and delivery, Ian also provides leadership and mentoring to achieve business goals and outcomes.

TRENT HUMPHRIES

GENERAL MANAGER ARRPWERE CONSULTING

With over 25 years of experience, Trent’s career trajectory sees him currently leading the highly successful Arrpwere Consulting arm of the business. His capability as General Manager is underpinned by his years of experience in project management, materiel and capability, technical airworthiness, engineering design, enterprise risk, engineering and leading multi-disciplinary teams of all sizes. Across his career, Trent has been particularly focussed on innovation, good governance, integrity and being customer centric. He has a keen analytical mind and has always been insightful and resourceful strategic thinker and communicator with a strong ability to influence.

MIKE PARKER

LEAD ENGINEER

With over 33 years’ experience, Mike Parker is a systems engineering expert, specialising in technical integrity assurance. In his role as the Arrpwere Lead Engineer, Mike has improved and maintained technical standards through the development of work instructions for engineering practice across the organisation, quality assurance of engineering documents and facilitation of design acceptance and certification. Mike currently sits in the role of Design Acceptance Authority Representative for the Military Platform Integration Branch in the Department of Defence, which was formally delegated to him by the Chief Technical Officer in 2016.

BEN CLARK

LEAD TEST MANAGER

Having spent 23 years in the IT industry, Ben has extensive experience in his capacity as the Arrpwere Lead Test Manager. Ben’s test management knowledge has contributed to his development of test management functions, assessment of test management state, design and development of test management maturity improvements, provision of test governance, managing risk, defect resolution and test execution, managing the testing lifecycle and direction of test management practice and development. Ben readily collaborates with and acknowledges the importance of building relationships to enhance testing and create environments that are conducive to producing optimal outcomes.
